DESCRIPTION:JOIN the West Volusia Realtors Foundation for our Poker Run Benefit Ride. Formed in 2020 by the Board of Directors of the West Volusia Association of REALTORS\, the West Volusia REALTORS Foundation is a non profit 501(c)3 charitable foundation\, led by REALTOR and Affiliate members of the West Volusia Association of REALTORS. We have two goals in mind... 1. We help WVAR REALTOR members and Affiliates as well as their families who are in need and have experienced a traumatic life event\, and need a little help. We don't pay for things like REALTOR dues or MLS fees\, but we do assist when a member needs a little boost after life has dealt them a tragedy. We refer to this as the REALTOR Benevolent Fund. 2. The other 50% of our focus is on non-profits in the West Volusia region who have a mission or a partial mission of assisting with affordable/workforce housing\, veterans housing as well as homelessness. We also help any and all housing related groups that are recognized as non-profit organizations by the IRS and have a location or dedicated housing based mission in West Volusia County through our grant process.
